Lush Mask Of Magnaminty

I’ve tried so many different face masks and creams and lotions and potions to settle my ever blemishing skin – but has the Lush Mask Of Magnaminty solved all my skin woes…

My skin always seems to have some kind of blemish or spot going on, which gets me down because I’ve spent a fair amount on such a variety of different skin products. I’ve tried the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions range, an Australian Bodycare Teatree Oil Blemish Stick and an array of anti-blemish gels and creams.

I’ve realised lately that I’ve been lacking in the ‘face mask’ department. After a little google and many blog reading hours, I saw a common face mask popping up each time; in the form of Lush, none the less. I’ve previously tried the Cosmetic Warrior face mask and a blemish banning routine, including Ultrabland and Breath of Fresh Air toner water, so I settled with trying the Mask Of Magnaminty face and body mask.

Mask Of Magnaminty is a multi-purpose mask, packed with ingredients that are ready to clean, calm and clear the skin. The ingredients are fresh and pack a punch, including: peppermint oil to stimulate, honey to moisturise, marigold oil to treat the skin and aduki beans to gently exfoliate the skin as you remove it.

I’m not a fan of mint but it’s the perfect consistency to slather on and kick back and chill in. I apply a fairly thick layer of the mask and let it do its thang for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once washed off with warm water, my skin feels incredibly soft and clean. The scent lingers on the skin, but it’s just a super fresh smell. The mask has certainly made my skin feel cleaner and calmer, but it hasn’t necessarily targeted my spots/blemishes as much as I’d of liked it to.

I’d be greatful for any blemish-zapping product suggestions! Send some help this gals way.

Mask of Magnaminty was such a helpful mask for my skin woes, but the one thing that really worked was going to the doctors and using the cream they prescribed me! x

I tried one of the Lush skin care products recently. It was Hebalism – it really helped to clear my blemishes.

I love this mask, it's saved my skin so so much. I had the non-self preserving one the last time and preferred it a little to this but they still do the same job! I use it twice a week! x
