Burberry – My Burberry Eau De Parfum

I’ve added a new perfume to my collection, and this time round, it’s a sophisticated twist on a floral scent! I have a lot of ‘sweet’ floral scents in my collection and My Burberry offers a more grown up scent; with top notes of sweet pea and bergamot, and heart notes of freesia and roses. I picked this one up in Debenhams, and with the help of their Beauty Card, I managed to tot up enough points to have £5 taken off the full price. A 30ml size bottle retails at £45. I’ve been using this as an evening scent as it’s fairly strong – the scent does wear down a little but it stays on the skin for hours.

The packaging is super chic, too. When I’m shopping around for a new perfume I’m always attracted to the packaging and design of the bottle. This dinky perfume has a marble-inspired screw top and a beige bow tied around the middle. It’s not the most exciting looking bottle, but it does ooze sophistication and femininity.

The perfume is said to capture ‘a London garden after the rain‘. I must admit, although I do like the smell in the air after it has rained, the description does sound a little off putting. Needless to say this perfume is far from a stagnant pool of dirty water. Phew.

What perfume have you added to your collection recently?

That perfume DOES look sophisticated, and it's cool that you got 5 pounds off it! 🙂 I don't think I've ever smelled it but I'll give it a go as I feel like I always wear the same fruity and sweet scents!

I love your blog and how tidy and well put together it looks! I own this perfume in a massive bottle and I can't get enough of it. I feel like it's more of grown up scent too, but also more suitable for evening wear perhaps?! Although I do spritz this in the day sometimes for a meeting or just if I feel like it! I've been recently loving the J'adore Dior one too! xxx
